Gift Adds to CHE Endowment
The Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering has received a gift of $225,000 from the Milliken Foundation to be added to the Earnest W. Deavenport, Jr. Chair. This gift will help improve the visibility of the chemical engineering program and in our quest for excellence in undergraduate and graduate education.
Well Engineering Topic of AIChE Student Chapter Meeting
On November 9 at 4:30pm Shell Oil will give a talk on Well Engineering in the Eastman Auditorium of the Swalm Chemical Engineering Building. Food will be provided!
CHE Senior Wins Co-op Award
Senior CHE student Mary Ann Murdock was named co-op student of the year. She did her co-ops with Ergon, Inc. Also nominated were CHE students Bonnie O’Neal and John Wright.
Chemical Engineering Receives Gift from ExxonMobil
The Swalm School of Chemical Engineering received a gift of $9,600 from ExxonMobil, as part of a larger gift of $34,000 to Mississippi State University. This gift will be used to support the School’s educational programs so that it can continue to be the premier undergraduate chemical engineering program in the southeast United States.
