Petroleum Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Approved
Mississippi State University will be offering a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering effective fall 2015. This will be the 11th undergraduate degree program within the Bagley College of Engineering. The degree will be administered by the Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering. Dr. Bill Elmore Wins Advising Award

Dr. Todd French Receives Funding
Dr. Todd French has received $2,518 from the University of Connecticut to perform glycerol fermentation experiments at the Renewable Fuels and Chemical Laboratory at Mississippi State.
Nusz Family Gift Supports Engineering
Tommy and Terri Nusz have donated $12.3 MM to the Infinite Impact Campaign at Mississippi State University. The gift includes $4 MM for engineering, of which $1.75 MM will be used to fund the Thomas B. Nusz Endowed Chair for an educator with a petroleum engineering specialization. Read more here.
