For the ninth consecutive year, the Mississippi State AIChE Student Chapter has received the national Outstanding Student chapter award for the 2008-09 academic year. Awarded annually to 15 chapters (of over 165 chapters across the nation), this recognition is given as a result of student membership and activities in local, regional and national events. The level of service activities in MSU’s chapter has been noted at the national level as being among the strongest among the nation’s AIChE student chapters.
